What's wrong with it is that Brig doesn't like people re-skinning his stuff without permission, and Drake should know that by now, being a regular of this forum.

dont take this the wrong way or anything brig but, that totally sucks...
i really like your work and models but i think you go a little overboard... he didnt release it, and i dont think it was right for him to show it off in this thread without permission, but not giving anyone the finished model because drake showed a picture... i dunno... doesnt seem right to me...

Drake's already gotten in trouble with Brig about his unwarranted recolours in the past, even though he didn't release them, if I remember correctly.

However, I'm inclined to wonder if Brig intended to release this thing anyway. But I'm not going to whine for an answer. I'm just wondering.

I'm also wondering what posessed Brig to give Drake a pre-release version of the model considering what's happened before...

No hatin'. Just commentin'. It's a good model. I'm sorry Brig feels negative about releasing it, but it's these same things--I think--that drove him off in the first place [misuse of his work, et cetera]. I would have thought at least the long-time regulars would have been a little more careful about that now that he was gracious enough to change his mind about not doing anything for us anymore. Ever again. Until the end of time.

I don't like that prospect, even though I just look at his stuff. It's obvious to me that he enjoys doing what he does, so anything that stifles his creative whims can't be good.

*sigh* nice model brig, that's all i have/had to say about it. It doesnt bother me that you arent releasing the full model, but it does bother me that you have to be so drastic about it. Not you doing it, but people being stupid. It's really quite annoying, and they never see anything wrong with it. It annoys me more when people host mirrors... even of my stuff, when they never ask. Yeah it's a nice gesture, but it's even nicer to be <u>asked</u> if you can do such. People, not just with brigaider, but everyone else too; respect our works, and don't do something that you wouldnt want done to yours unless asked. Thanks.

I just think the problem is everyone wants credit for ****, but the people who download the stuff outside the forums are like OMGZ MODLARZ! and couldent give a rats **** about who made it :/

So, just keep the people downloading happy and quit trying to be some 1337 ns superstar and whatnot :/

yea, but out of the hundreds or thousands of players on ns, maybe a 5% even look at these forums and if they do its just to get something, the rest prob goto custom model sites. To them, its just a model thats just magicly there. No work behind it, no nothing. Before i knew how to model i always thought about how much i hated something or i wish this was a diffrent color or something.

Just be happy people think your work is good and let them enjoy it. You people really need to stop worrying about omgogmggomog its mine ©©©©©© me 2004 ololo no touch. If you dont like people touching your stuff, then you shouldent of even picked up on customizing :/
