Metal Gear Acid

Urge to kill... rising...
So I'm poking through some magazines at work the other day (I work at Gamestop), and I come across an article about Metal Gear Acid. "That's cool," I think, "another Metal Gear is always good. Hey, what are those little things on the screenshots that look... like... playing cards?"
I read the article. I cry. I scream aloud in anger. METAL GEAR ACID IS USING A CARD-BASED COMBAT SYSTEM. WHY GOD WHY!
I mean seriously, if you want to screw the series over, why not just replace Snake with a little sissy boy in a highly anticipated sequel? Oh, wait. Never mind. If you need me, I'll be over in the corner waiting and hoping they don't screw up MGS 3, for the sake of all that is holy.

Did you check if it is titled "The National Enquirer"?
For a sec there I thought you used a picture. Hmm maybe those jokes?

Then again, it might be like Sonic Battle in some weird way (not that the game was all that good...but it wasn't exactly terrible.)
The trailer doesn't really show too much about it.
I don't think MGS has really been very popular in Japan, its been more popular in the west so this is for Japan
Anyway MGS3 isn't going to be card based so just get that if you dont like cards
Card games: more fun than you'd think.
This for once could be interesting, looks like something I will enjoy ^______^
So it must suck
METAL GEAR ACID GOTTA CATCH EM ALLL
In fact it looks like fun....
I mean cards... CARDS!!!
What's next? A mario-kart style game based on splinter cell where you race terrorists... in the dark? How about a first-person shooter based on RISK? Or perhaps Unreal 2004- Dance-dance revolution edition.
Ironically all of the above sound more plausible than a card-based MGS game, and yes, I may have ripped one of the ideas from penny arcade but it seemed to fit my point nicely.
I think the gaming industry really IS going downhill. This is why.
