Sold Our House!

After bloody AGES!
FINALLY, after what seems like EONS we've sold our house. The average number of viewers people have looking to buy a house is something like 19, we've had more than 60 viewings with a grand total of 2 offers. This morning i got the news that they made a decent enough offer and it's settled. They've sold their house and are ready to go, we've had our offer accepted on a new house, so finally, i'm moving.

Sometime in the next 1-3 months or so i will, unfortunately, be without net connection. To bide my time, i'll most probably get a 30 day trial of some dial-up until i get back on broadband, but that's a small price to pay to get more bandwidth in the end.

So wait a second. Did it take a really long time to sell your house, or to get to the point that it was agreed that your house needed to be sold?

Heh, thats what sucks in Europe.

Ya see, here in Cali, houses get sold after about 3 viewers. My Nana sold her house on the 2nd viewer, 1 day after she put it up. They'd pay what she wanted, as long as someone fixed the Jaccuzzi(which my dad did). Lotsa moneys.

What do you mean more bandwidth, I thought you had cable or some such where you are right now? Or is it a really bad provider because your stuck in some suburb or rural area?

In any case I'm glad for yah, I know how it is to suffer the wraith of low speed internet after tasting the sweet sweet nectar that is Broadband.

From having to be on Dial-Up for 3 and a half years, I know what a difference it is, and I've learned, always value no packet loss.

I'm on 512kb ADSL right now, i didn't want to change ISP's before moving, there seemed no point since we'd have to go through the process of them enabling ADSL on the new phone line anyway, so rawr.
