It seemed like a good game, graphicly I think it beats the pance off morrowind but in terms of combat and voice acting its just "meh."
The combat is one of the more creative ones... a little more in depth then your average hack n slash but with a catch, the targeting is a gift from satan. Its perfectly fine on a one on one situation but when you have a additional target in the backround things go down the pewper.
No control combination, ini setting or otherwise would stop it. The lock function would not work and the target focus would always snap to whatever is furthest away, thats perfectly alright when your trying to attack something with a bow... but if you you have a sword you will be unable to fight back when something gets close.
Nearly broke another keyboard in the process... extremely frustrating....

IMHO gothic2 is verry easy to play, mostly you don't need the mouse after all.
As for combat, button smashing won't bring you far, if you don't learn the smooth timings you won't be able to beat it.

Yes its very easy, but near impossible when you cant target whats in front of your face.
Sometimes i just want to go on a murdering rampage, steal a gaurd's armor, and then kill everyone else there...

Your suppose to find the mentors in the city, do their silly quests and become a apprentice. Then you can become a citizen once you have a job.
Its far to the right side of the docks, you should see a torch on the cliff near the water. That should be it.
