<div class="IPBDescription">What is this trash?</div> I liked the first two driver games, don't get me wrong.
But how could they spend so long on a game, and end up with such CRAPPY GAMEPLAY?!
First off: Its called "Driver". I don't want to be out of my car and shooting things. Now, games like GTA3 make me a bit forgiving on that aspect- but this just sucks. Your enemies stand there the whole time, or roll to their right, once, to continue standing in the same place. The bad thing is- that actually makes them harder to hit, because the controls are so terrible that aiming correctly at someone is nigh impossible without Auto-Aim on. They can also hear you from a mile away, and can snipe with pistols sometimes.
The only good thing about Driv3r is its graphics- their beautiful. But that only applies to cities, and the cars. Humans? TERRIBLE. They all look exaclty the same, just with a different skin and slightly different hair(even the women supposedly wearing dresses, its just a skin when you get up close and you see its actually badly modeled pants.
Then, the game is RIDDLED with bugs. I got to the 1 cool cutscene I saw- a guy hanging upside down in a garage with some duct tape over his mouth, and someone holding a pistol to his head while talking to him.
The sound was borked. I heard nothing- and didn't for many tries.
Then, the game is unbalanced. Sometimes, its too forgiving-(with the "Don't wreck the car." missions- the bumper will be hanging off, glass broken, a flat tire, and scratches all down the side- but still able to give to my boss/coworker.), and other times, its overly hard-(shoot up the bar. They give you 45 seconds to do it. You spend EVERY PIECE OF AMMO getting rid of everything in the store, and its still not enough).
Then, the physics are terrible- you can be driving along, turn real hard, barrel role the car 3 times- and it won't be damaged at all. You can turn corners at 50 miles an hour just by letting off the gas(and I mean TIGHT corners). The breaks work too fast for the older cars, and the accelleration is just ****. You can go from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds with everything, and the whole time it sounds like the car is stuck in the lower part of low gear- truly annoying.
Man, I feel sorry for the many people I know that wated years for this game- their gonna be really dissapointed.

Yes, I didn't like the first two very much. If I tell that to anyone I know they hit me, they seem to love it for some reason....then again they did think Halo was the best game ever made...

Man i played this game at least 8 times trough.... No, not on the pc, on my xbox, darn it is sooo much fun in co-op mode! The PC version came out the 21st also, so its the same game.
Full Spectrum Warrior, while overly easy, is definately worth at least $40, though I'd rent it first and see if you beat it.
It may be worth it for XBox live support though.

Man. This is TRASH. And no- the little driving camera whatever thing sucks too, being the cities are so drab its like "Whatever" when there's nothing to do really.
Looks like Bugbear Entertainment is bent on releasing tonnes of racing titles. They all look good!
Burnout 3 for me, althout GT4 looks promising.
that game was boring as watching paint dry. the first half of it was doing real police work ... which sucked.
