sounds / dialouge from a DVD? How?
Hey, Id like to make myself a voice pack from the sounds from A|iens but I dont know how to rip sound off a DVD. There is a way from playing it from speakers into a microphone but the quality is generally poor.

Is there any other way?

This has been done many times hiowever what i would do is;
-Download freeware programme "Audio recorder deluxe", just google that
-set up the programme to record from aux and not the mic just on the controls
-to achieve best results use a sound editing programme to remove static and stuff but this isn't needed
-use windows sound recorder to cut spaces out of the file.
-use windows sound recorder to convert the files to 16hz 8bit mono PCM files and extract to where needed

Double click your audio icon in your tray. Goto properties and select recording and then click ok. Now check mp3/wav. Now your microphone is set to record any sound on your computer, so simply pop in the DVD and record away with sound recorder, that is if you have a dvd player on your computer .
