How did I ended up from 1 to SIX invites
When gmail started to provide invites to gmail users (around last week) I only had like 3 invites. Gave 2 of them to friends and was keeping the last one for another who I knew wanted it but was overseas at the moment.

Anyways today I check my gmail, when I open an email message (lets say from John), there is an option under it saying "Invite John to Gmail". So I was thought I just try and see what it does.

It took you to the regular gmail invite form. But NOW I saw that I had SIX invites. Gonna see if any of my other friends want it and after that I'll see if anyone else here wants it

Although if other gmail users are given 6 invites than I am sure there is enough to go around those that needed it. ;p

On another note are other Gmail users getting the same thing?

As far as I know, Gmail gives you invites according to how many emails you've sent/recieved. So if you've been actively using your account a lot then you'll find a lot of invites to hand out.

One of my friends has handed out 15 invites so far...
