<div class="IPBDescription">possible solution</div> For all those people wanting the good old days of 1.04 and for those wanting 3.0 ns modes why not just add a server variable/map names for the two versions?
ie ns_1.04_eclipse , ns_3.0_eclipse
or something like mp_server1.04 /3.0
basically the 1.04 would just need the bug updates and the server could decide wheather it wanted to be a 3.0 style or 1.04 style it wanted or a variation of both?
This would sort out the problem of people complaining about them missing the epic style battles and if they wanted they could throw in some faster paced ns if they felt like it or vice versa

Maybe someone could write an amx-plugin or something.. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Sorry, I'm just getting irritated by all of the "1.04 WAS BETTER!" stuff. Frankly, I didn't find it better.
And it hurts even more to see how many people want to change the lerk back, despite the fact that I NEVER saw a lerk in 1.04 or 2.01 capable of effective flight. Especially not to the point of picking jetpackers out of the air.
I am one of those who thought 1.04 did a few things better, but the people who wants the old lerk flight thing is just plain messed up.
New lerk flight is much, much more intuitive. Its one of the coolest innovations in NS.
those who liked 1.04 would be able to play it and those who like 3.0 would be able to play that <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
