I've been looking for older games to buy lately, like System Shock but I havn't been able to find it

Something old that can't be found at stores can be found on Amazon.com.

Same, cheap, free delivery to the UK (I think) and a good service.

that also depends on where you live (US, UK, Other?)

I'm in France, and I don't know cheap shops from around here. I just go with some googling or "find the cheapest price" things search, and I usually end up with amazon.

I never buy games onlnie. All the stores here carry old stuff if that's what I'm looking for. When its NES and SNES games there is a great used game store that has most common stuff for under $10, and if anybody can get their hands on the rarer stuff (like Castlevania: SOTN) its them.

I buy them where they're cheap(ish). I try to avoid EB for vague reasons I put my finger on, though the fact that they aren't usually cheap(ish), and the fact that it's right next to a fingernail parlor in the mall that gives me horrible breathing problems everytime I go there are probably contributing factors. It just seems too... chain-y. Gamestop is a chain, but it doesn't feel like one. The people that work there seem cooler.

Back when our mall...didn't suck and go poor (as in there's about 8 shops in there) there were EB and KB toys...KB Toys had the games for about 20% more than EB...and they were within minute's walking distance.

On actual buying and stuff: I generally stick with Shopko (I think it's a Midwest regional chain), Target or Wal-Mart. If I'm looking for a good deal (based on Ads), or to browse a [generally] better selection, I stick with Circuity City or Best Buy (although, truthfully, I find CC is much better than BB - service and price wise). Got CoD at CC for $40 a week or so after it came out.

For actual online purchases: the only things I've ever bought were AvP:Gold Edition (with 'leet Facehugger thingy), System Shock 2 (can't buy it much of anywhere anymore) and Fallout pack (direct from interplay or whatever the company is). The internet is for games you can't find anywhere else .

I find going to a tangible retail store more satisfing than sending information over the internet (especially since it wants to crap out on me in the last week).
