[req] Star Wars Models

<div class="IPBDescription">Embrace the dark side</div> This may have been requested before, altho im not sure (i checked about 90% of the customization threads)

So heres my request. If there is any bored modeler out there, I think it would be nice to see some star wars stuff into ns, considering i like star wars.

Things i would like to see:
A stormtrooper/clonetrooper to replace the marines (considering they all look the same and it's weird)
Dark troopers/Arc troopers for HA (depending if clones or stormtroopers are used)
A basic blaster for a pistol.
The rifle stormtroopers use (lmg)
The rifle clonetroopers use (hmg)
A plasma grenade (nade)
A hologram model of a star destroyer (or death star) to replace the hologram in hera.


I know this is a really basic request, but theres no gain if you dont try right?

the hmg could be DLT-19(play troopers to see it), or the light repeating blaster they got in it to. And the rifle the stormtroopers use is E-11 Blaster Rifle.

what about the droid troopers for LA or something? theyve been done before and i have them on my hdd, i think i have credits too, theyre for normal hl tho so you would have to convert it

mhm I just found some SW models from FA... they "just" need to be assigned to the NS skelleton...

I got:

Battledroid
Scouttrooper (perfect LA imo)
Stormtrooper (HA?)
Chewie
Boba Fett/Mandalorian Warrior (JP?)
and... Yoda 0_O

and I think I got this heavy blaster floating around somewhere on my HL stuff....

I believe the hologram can not be replaced. As it would change the size and consistency of the file the map would not load on your computer. So thats a bummed idea, unless of course you edited it with RipEnts.

uhm.... the hologram is just a model and that CAN be changed.... that's for sure, because I already did that more than a dozen times <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

could we see a picture or a link to where to find the FA versions.
Your right... Scout trooper does sound more fitting for LA.


But stormtrooper is a must at least so if ya got some free time on your hands and willingness to convert those models that would be nice (of course dont forget to include proper credits in the readme)
