Quick And Simple Meshing Question

If I have my mesh, but I have two things on the mesh that are identical eg the sides of a cube...in order to save space i'm assuming it is possible to make it so that u only have to have say one side on the mesh and all the other sides take their texture from the same space on the mesh.

How do i do this?

i think you just place them both over each other on the mesh that way they will both be exactly the same
