Walken is definately G-Man material, I'd put John Malcovich as Walter, or maybe Alan Alda. Steve Buscemi as Barney, and as for Freeman himself, it doesn't matter who plays him since he never speaks and he spends most of the movie with the HEV suit on anyways.

Might I suggest when you suggest an actor you list some of the roles they've played, I have no idea who Christopher Lloyd, Christopher Walken or Matthew Broderick are.

I would agree with Johnny Depp and Morgan Freeman though.

barney = john goodman for the win! <3

gman = christopher walken, easily. nobody could do it better.

edward norton would make a fantastic gordon, he would do it VERY well, no doubt... but his voice is too perky, i think. a little too energetic. i imagine the "real" gordon as being a collected gentleman. norton plays any character who's tense <i>to perfection</i>.. unfortunately, this is not gordon.

and don't anybody diss christopher walken. he's been in gigli, yeah. he's been in a lot of movies. a lot of BAD movies.

but he says he takes any role that he feels he'll enjoy, and that right there is +100 points for actor integrity.

so take your oscar mentality and shove it.

No, no, John Goodman couldn't be Barney. Maybe Otis, but not Barney.

For some reason, when you said Mathew Brodrick as Barney, I pictured him in the security helmet and immediatly thought, "Best idea ever!"

And Christopher Lloyd could be a great G-Man.

But what about the other characters? You've still got Adrian Shepard, Gina, and Dr. Kleiner.
