Very nicely detailed, and the top view makes it much easier to determine the shape. The turrets seem adequately sized to the ship, and aren't so much dominating the ship's design that you can easily make modifications later. Looking at the actual turret coverage though, you can start to see some problems. If you trace an arc from the point of minimum elevation on those rear turrets, all the way down and around towards the front, to the point of maximum elevation on the lower fore turrets, you'll see that there is no turret coverage. Absolutely none. The flak turrets do a good job covering the angles on the flanks, and their line-of-sight is virtually unobstructed through hemispheres... but it's that approach from underneath the ship's belly in that blindspot that can be easily exploited, perhaps even by a capital ship that has a narrow head-on profile. Above the launch decks also, an attack from a 12 o'clock high would send fighters down on (what appears to be, at any rate) the carrier's command deck, with only a heavy, slow moving turret to stop them.
Another great design, but the turret coverage is what sprang to mind before anything. But like I said, if you so choose to change anything, you've left plenty of room for yourself to do so.
ok... thats called nit-picking The ship can do whatever it wants to ok? It doesnt have to be realistic
Just say it looks nice
*edit* Reminds me of a Carrier from Wingcommander...
It's not nitpicking if there's a HUGE HOLE in the ship's defense. I'm just pointing it out because I see absolutely nothing else wrong and think that it is a great design that could be improved so much more.
That's like building an indestructible fence around Fort Knox, except only three feet high.
Nitpicking would be if I said "wah... I don't like the antenna angles... That particular shade of red is too bright... those turrets look like sponsons from a British tank...". It doesn't matter what the hell I want, it's his design. I didn't tell him anything about how to fix it, or what I think he should do about it. I merely stated what I saw, and what appeared to be there. How, or if, he fixes it is entirely up to him.

Great looking ship drake. It'd b hard 2 model that 2 make it look as gud as the concept.
But some time make a space ship and draw it from different views, like front, left, right, top etc. I would love to model some kind of space ship from your concepts on a rainy day
mm... I'm going to start doing this now
Can i use the concept for my mod?

U'r concepts are always wicked...love u'r style.
Dunno if ne1 is up modelling this stuff tho...i wudn't know where to start...

Jaeger your knowledge of ship design is quite scary =p
but really i intended for it to be "not so perfect even the modern carrier needs support and so does this"
i didnt want to make a UBER UNTOUCHABLE 100turret Space Hulk =]
maybe l8er
i might do a few more
Tell me more!
