Crediting Map Content Sources

<div class="IPBDescription">etiquette etc.</div> Hopefully the topic title isnt too vague. I'm curious about permissions to use .wads (or models) made by others in your maps, as well as properly crediting them.
Now in my current map, i use a few textures from the tanith, eclipse and ayumi .wads. I am fairly sure its fine to use official wads in a map without getting permission, but i thought i would check just in case it isnt.
My other query is about crediting makers of the textures used in maps. Currently i am naming the wads i have used in my credits, and giving a general thankyou to the makers, as i have no idea which people actually made each texture. should i start trying to determine their names? or have i done enough.
Hopefully my post makes sense, my brain is slightly fried at the moment.

As for permission for using wads and such from custome maps, it's generally fine; if they didn't compile the wad into the bsp chances are they'll be fine with someone using them.
