Several people could use this advice...
I've noticed some tensions growing in some threads that have caused heated debates, so I'd like to share with all of you my tips for a good post. Whenever someone says something that gives you riled up, either because you've got a different viewpoint (and have to share it) or you're just plain offended, these tips are for you!

1) Click the reply button. Easy enough.
2) Type out a long reply, the longer the better.
3) Make sure there are no punctuation or grammar mistakes in your post. Double check it.
4) Read over it three or four times to make sure it says exactly what you want to express.
5) Click the X in the top right corner of your browser window.

If you follow these steps you're be guranteed to both be able to get out some of that pent up aggression, and you'll not get in anybody's way or make an asshat of yourself in the process! It's a win/win scenario.

I've done it a few times, but more often because something I've written sounds stupid than worrying about angering anyone.

One question: is an asshat headgear for your donkey, or headgear made from donkey? I've always wondered about that...

One would asume the target has an human arse on his head, in the fashion of a hat. Lets ask Google.

Define: asshat returns no results, but this and a picture of a naked man with a hat on his arse are on the first results page:

I just *have* to argue. So now I don't post in Discussions any more. The benefits are:

    - I can now actually get to sleep as opposed to lying awake obsesing about how someone is going to reply to my arguement about the Iraq war and how I'm going to counter said reply

    - I can spend more time on university study instead of writing essay length replies argueing with someone who will *never* accept my point of view no matter how well articulated my arguement is

    - I no longer get chest pains and feel irritable from reading Discussion forum threads

So if you're like me, take Doom's advice: don't post.

Google is naught but a puny gimp wallowing in its own filth when you have SafeSearch turned on.
