<div class="IPBDescription">anyone have the script?</div> i just got a 13 button, d-pad, 2joystick controller. the only problem is that hl doesnt support aqnything except a keyboard and a mouse for anything besides aiming. i want the controller to take over controls for everything in the game, i figure that quick-select, open weapon select, shoot, crouch, action, reload, jump, voice chat, and pop-upmenue for the buttons, dpad as arrow keys, and one joystick for movement, the other for turning/aiming. i need to know the code for the bind i.e. change [bind f "fire"] to something like [bind joy5 "fire"] i just need to know what the "joy5" part of the script would be called, i also need everything that would need to go in a userexec.cfg and a joystick.cfg file. if you have any part of this please contribute

teach you game pad to act as a key presses

and just set up the joypads and joysticks.

thats what i was thinking but....im not sure howto make that happen, i was going to make it like joy1- spacebar or something like that but im not sure how to configure my controller to do that... its suprising that nobody has used a joystick in any hl game or mod...ive posted this in about 10 forums and havent got a useful response, its startingto annoy me

well, mouse > Joystick nuff said.

the reason why most fpses on consoles use auto aim.

and it all depends on your game pad.

if it is a gravis, then just download their program and that will fully config as you want
