Printing Pictures

<div class="IPBDescription">It shouldn't be this hard!!</div> <rant>

Currently, to print a picture out (as in I go online, get a map, want to blow it up to fill a page), I have to copy it into Microsoft Word, MANUALLY resize it, and THEN print it out!

I SHOULD be able to just hit print, tell it to scale it to the page (which I do!), and then get a map that perfectly fits my 8' x 11' page. But it seems that the world hates me!

So... any way to print pictures from Iexplore? Where I never have to fiddle with % scaleage? If you can do this in Mozilla, I am switching and sending an up yours email to Bill Gates.

well, if you tell something to print... its gona print what there is.

ofcourse you have to put it into some sorta editor to change it....

many webpages that people need to print out will have links to a printer friendly version. (ex: Mapquest)

Use something better than microsoft word?

You can just use photoshop or paint shop pro and go to print preview -> fit to page -> center.

If your using Windows XP you can simply select the picture file and click print in the toolbar on the left. The wizard will come up with a few options about how you want to fit it on the page. Nice and simple.
