for some reason, csg isnt working, nor is it generating any errors to explain why it isnt working

Are you using Merl's 1.7 version of HLCSG? Early P series versions die without an error if you're missing the MSVC runtime dlls.

This is most likely the DLL file you need, download and move it to your system32 Windows folder.

C:\WINDOWS\System32 (<i>example path</i>)
