Game Messes Up After Going In?

What am i suppose to do my game frezes after a get in . As i see the readyroom it froze.

    Try turning off EAX and A3D if you are using them.

    Also try D3D and Open GL and tell us if either one works, also try all the normal mumbo jumbo update drivers, update windows etc

    P.S Could we get a full system spec please, and if your using steam or not. Also does this happen with any other game/HL mod?

    *Edit* Since Thansel would of suggested it at some point also try reinstalling steam/ns.
