Just keep moving around, they can't cloak walk after a marine who's running.

And if you run into something, for the love of god shoot it. I've been a skulk sneaking up behind people, they back up, can't, and don't realize its because there's a skulk under their foot. About 2 seconds later they realize it when they're dead, and a focus skulk is ripping through their team. Cloak xeno is also dangerous for nub marines. On daimos I came out of the double vents near tram, walked right into the middle of the entire marine team, started xeno, and they started shooting ahead of them. 9 kills. I was a marine on caged, shooting at a skulk down the hallway that goes to the upper sewer RT. He ran up a wall, so my partner and I just crouched with our lmgs aimed down the hall (leaving the door clear tho... we weren't too bright). So I get bored, back up a few steps to rush in the hallway and shoot the damned thing, and trip over something. Immediately I spin around and knife the stupid skulk. (On a totally unrelated note I only had 3 non-knife kills that round... out of 17 kills <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> 2 fades, 1 onos, a gorge or three and a pile of skulks)

the only true knife kill is the plain knife kill, killing a being on 100hp 100 armor with knife only.

I only did that 5 times in my entire time on NS. And all skulks <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

As a alien I go for 'in the open' because people don't like to check across the entire floor of a room instead of the ordinary places. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    ^^

I find myself hiding in broad daylingt as an alien with cloaking all the time, and SC placement

I don't think anything in the world sucks more than walking through a hallway alone with only an lmg and going hey somethings cloaked, then going hey thats a cloaked onos. Those are the times you sort of try to pull the ostrich affect. You didn't see him, he didn't see you RUN!!
