Obsession! Lets play!
I'm obviously obsessed with Soldiers. As I've said countless times before, the game is fantastic even from the little bit that I've played in the demo thats 80% done so far. If you haven't downloaded the demo, go do it now at www.codemasters.de/soldiers and take a look for yourself. You'll have to register for codemasters to download, but its like any other standered registration and only a bit annoying.

Anyways, play through the demo a couple of times, get used to the controls and gameplay style of the game, form a tactic of your own and try some new ones, then post your tactics here while trying the other's tactics to completing the demo. There are numerous amounts of strategies to descover, I myself still haven't beaten the demo on normal difficulty yet!

Looks good - an actual original attempt at WW2 action, not yet another FPS. Downloading now

i keep getting swamped by tanks in the second wave.
it doesnt help that i keep accidentally run one of my men over accidentally a lot of the time

Heh, get used to the controls first, that helps a ton. Get familer with the direct control aspect of the game and you'll be able to use one man to take out three tanks, five units, and a piece of artillery all by himself.

What I usually do for the second wave of tanks (yes, its extreamly hard) is have one man with RPG's and moltov cocktails go to the far west side before the second wave comes, hide him there, and wait for the tanks to pass him by. Then he comes out of his hiding place, and bombs the hell out of the tanks. Destroy the smaller tanks with an RPG (toss them anywhere on the tank, they kaboom em in notime, no survivors) and destroy the huge, large tank by throwing a moltov cocktail into the engine which is at the rear of the tank. The engine will set on fire (hopefully, if you hit it with the cocktail) and the crew will all abandon the tank. Proceed to gun them down as they get out, then rush to the first sherman tank (if its hopefully still alive) and get your repair kit, and repair the panther tank. Get all your men then inside the panther tank (err the panther tank is the big tank) and roll right into the city. Game, over.

Seems to me Germans sent out Old Billy Bob to get a ton of Gray paint and go "Ha Gray paint in a feild of tree's looks awsome!" Now this is just looking at the screenshot section. Models look okay nothing special.

Okay maybe not all third page shows a Tiger in camo. So one tank is atleast in camo i'll admit that

I might give the game a try but another ww2 game which is a mod of BF1942 has been in my eyes for a while now. Best realism mod out their for any craving ww2 maniac.

    Forgotten Hope: http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.html

When you see this beauty on the battlefield, its the one tank everyone fears but loves to see her fire.

Uhm... the game has overhead RTS style gameplay. You expect the graphics to be super awsome? They're great for the style of game it is, try it before you judge things by the screenshots.

EDIT:: I doubt that all the german's tanks were camo'd in WWII. And could we keep the thread on topic...?

    i meant in the demo

i managed to get up to where you get 2/3 people coming in and helping you(as controllable soldiers)

i then promptly died as i couldnt face off against 2 big tanks and 2 small ones(the big ones just. dont. die)
