wow looks great udder, keep it up <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> . I think you should keep some sort of logo down the bottom, just not like it was before
Bah i forgot to mention, in the skin make a rotating circle thing on the base so it looks like it can spin left/right and the middle it will look up/down.
I can edit in the .qc how far it looks up/down so it dont look weird <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Just open the logo, scale, and grayscale it. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
hm.... here is the TSA logo in high-res. hope this is the right one for this model <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

just a quick update, lots to do, and i'm not very happy with how it looks. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Tis to plain. Plus i need to sort out lighting at back
Loading slot, more status stuff (think a red bar showing ammo or something).
A military-style bit of writing on the side... Y'know how grenades tend to have text on them saying "M-73 Fragmentation grenade" (yes, I know M-73 either isn't a grenade or doesn't exist... but I'm not gonna take the time to find the number).
Add a bit more color to it too. Dark green/blue. Remove that "TSA" thing in the bottom right of the main gun box thing... looks out of place.
And finally: picture real TSA marine things (THEY EXIST I TELL YOU) carrying around the thing. Might help with skinning it (=
I was gona chrome the barrel though, but nice skin anyways <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Starting on my own skin. I tried skinning the barrel on my own mesh... not pretty. Probably going to go back and redo that part when I'm inclined to. Anyhow, trying for a worn feel to this skin, dunno how well it'll go.
I like worn edges, but these look kinda like their done in paint <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Little bumpage. I'm finnaly starting on my skin. I cant figure out how to get renders of the model like udder has done. I havent really used Milkshape before so, I dunna know. Im sure ill figure it out eventually.
i think he rendered that in 3ds max grizzly, if you want renders like that feel free to PM me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->. Or he may of done it through ms3d by using a black background or something i guess, but renders from 3ds max will look better
that looks great so far <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->, why does what happen? the skin looking different in ms3d?
I hate to stop, but my ms3d keep crashing everytime I try to load the ms2d. I've spent like all day so far working on it and I've got hardly anything done. Udders all ready finished his skin. Once the turret get released, or if udder's skin doesnt work out or w/e I'll try again.
