New Hive?

i just thought of something that would make the hive a whole lot cooler - wouldn't it be nice if someone changed the model so that instead of just being some kind of structure the hive was some huge, bulbous queen bee type alien?id imagine it as some sort of smallish head and torso (about the size of a gorge) clinging to the roof with some massively disproportionate egg sac type thing on the bottom which would replace the current bulbous bit of the hive. That would also give some story on how aliens magically spawn as well (instead of having 'it is currently unknow exactly how new bodies are created' we could just have something like 'the Kharaa Matriarch psychically senses the loss of one of her children and quickly creates a new egg to hatch into a replacement'.) or has this been done already? and could someone try to draw something like this? i could (i am a so so drawer) but i dont have a scanner.

The Hive atm is like a Heart. With the Pulmonary Artery coming out the top and the Aorta that thing at the bottom. I think I got the heart names right.

i just think that someone should remake the hive into something better....

i have some sketches but i dont think they are god nuff...
can seem to get away from that one idea of a hive
