<div class="IPBDescription">A new kind of map</div> Ok, I have here the first release of my map, ns_adventure_b1. Keep in mind that it's a beta. Right now, I am more focused with testing the gameplay and figuring out how to balance it(although it does seem pretty balanced already). After I see what I need to change, I'm gonna make a final and it's gonna be so pretty you won't believe it. A quick synopsis of this map is an interactive and slightly more immersive siege map.

Anyways, the gameplay is like this. The goal of the marines is to weld four weld points. Each point unlocks the next one. It also gives the marines access to res previously accesible by only the aliens. After the fourth one is welded, the water in one alien hive drains, making it easier to take it down, and you are able to siege the next hive from there. Also, many entrances to the hive area that were previously cut off will be available after the fourth weld point is welded. Obviously, the goal of the aliens is to stop them.

And theres a bunch of bugs. Don't worry about them, I'll fix them once I release the next version(which will be sometime within the next few weeks.)

And since a common tendency of players is to not have any idea what to do, the next version will include: a detailed description of what to do in the ready room, symbols by each weld point, and a minimap with symbols next to each weldpoint.

I did it for him. It's pretty simple architecturally and the layout is not so good. Thi hives are way too clise together.

Yea, I was planning on finding out how much tweaking I would have to do to make it a good map. Then I was gonna make it prettied up.

And thanks for taking those pics for me.

And also, thanks for not thouroughly reading my explanation Mr. "the hives are too close to each other".
