<div class="IPBDescription"> - F.A.Q and Tips</div> <b>GENERAL:</b>

These two ideas have been put together, as they are essentially the same. Please, if you do not want someone to model your concept art, please post it in the Artwork forum.

Pictures are almost a necessity in either a concept or a request. If you are requesting something be changed a little and think you may be able to explain the desired effect well enough with words, please do try, but be prepared to have a screenshot/image ready. As an alternative to an image or text, a link to an image would be very handy.

If your native language is any other than English, please refrain from using your native language on the forums, even if you may be able to explain what you are looking for better, these forums are an English-only environment. “leet” speak does not count as part of the English language. If you feel the need to use your native language, please state in your thread (in English) which language you would like to use, and state that you are requesting help translating, a forum user should PM you in the native language you state to see what you are trying to accomplish.

Grammar is Key. Please use intelligible grammar and sentence structure, if need be, type up your message in a word editor and make sure that it is correct.

<b>CONCEPTS:</b>

Please include on your image an emblem, name or text stating who this image is made by. This could be included in your initial post, but would be preferred to be embedded into the image.

If you have any special requests about permission to model, please state this at the beginning of your thread, as for the majority of the concepts/requests, please consider them “open call” which are free to anyone to model, modify and ignore.

Include all information possible. Description for weapons would state what weapon it is to be modeled for. This carries over to the image as a top, front, side, and perspective view would be handy, but is not required.

Please use a ruler. Some modelers try to stay very close to the concept, and if the concept has un-straight lines, you will discourage them from completing your concept/request.

Please respect the authors of the concept by including their name in the read-me and or description of your model.

<b>REQUESTS:</b>

Include all information possible. Description for weapons would state what weapon it is to be modeled for. This carries over to the image as a top, front, side, and perspective view would be handy, but is not required.

Please respect the authors of the requested material by including a name/link to the source of the references you used.
