I can definately recommend all of the above, particularly Heart of Evil, Sweet half-life (good luck finding a link for that one) and Azure Sheep. Azure Sheep is actually made by the same guy who made POV, and has a few litte crossovers (Azure sheep was actually made before POV).

i cant see they hunger anymore.. i was bored with this singleplayer series very fast.. the 1. part was ok..but all others kinda sucked... they where done just because every bad b-horror movie got a sequel too

Halfquake amen, you will either find it a blasphemy to gameplay, or like it a fair bit. Artsy wierd crap all the way through, but it REALLY strays from the standard issue HL single player box.

They Hungeer was cool in parts but sometimes it could be really lame.

Waking up in the hospital was the coolest bit though.
