Ns Is Kinda.....twitchy.....

I'm having trouble with ns in the fact that sometimes the game will become kind of twitchy and the screen will stagger a tad every few seconds. My FPS stays at a almost solid 99 fps. I have NS 4a and and running NS on 1024x768

My system specs

AMD athlong 2500+ OCed to 2800+
1024 MB of DDR 400 cosair
ATI powercolor radeon 9600 pro 256 MB ( 4.5 Catalysts)
Windows XP Pro

    Sounds like lag problem to me. When it happens have you hit TAB key to see the ping?

    Go into the advanced tab in the video settings, then the 3D tab. Click the 'compatability' button under OpenGL, then hit the radio button to enable triple-buffering. Then force VSync on.     Only problem is I cannot run OpenGL. even before and after applying your changes. I am forced to use D3D in steam. But my FPS ingame stays very steady. And i have no ping issues. I'm leaning towards more of a system issue. Any Ideas?
