<div class="IPBDescription">the console, remember?</div> Yes apparently it still exists, shown by some friend who linked me <a href='http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/10/news_6096249.html' target='_blank'>this</a>
<img src='http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2004/news/05/07/phantom_screen001.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
Looks uglier than its old design, it's a 2500+ with nvidia FX 5700 Ultra, barely any ram, and a half-sized HDD.
But I want more info D; *looks towards E3 visitors*
Anyone think this might have a remote chance of sucess?

Is this a game console that uses PC parts, or a full-fleged PC?
I'm thinking PC.
And something that small is bound to be successful.

They said a one-time fee of $199 would be an option, along with the cost of the games themselves.
And how do you know about the cooling?
And that port on the front is for it's weird keyboard mouse hybrid thing that sits on your lap (it's actually really cool way to use the pair)

You mean... it actually exists?
Wow.
*EDIT: After hearing about the apparent existance of the Phantom, i felt like checking to see if PA had any words on it. All they commented on was <a href='http://www.hardocp.com/image.html?image=MTA4NDkwMDM2MG85d3cyR3hyMkxfMV8xX2wuanBn' target='_blank'>this image</a>, which is quite funny. <a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2004-03-03' target='_blank'>Lookie at this</a> if you don't get it. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Just shut up before you get too far behind...
Don't you mean all <i>NVidia</i> cards? [/ATI fanboi]

Well, not much at first, so we decided to compile and research all of the publicly available information we could find and see what we could learn about Infinium Labs and their new console. What we discovered was that the CEO of Infinium Labs, Timothy Roberts, has helmed several businesses that have failed or have gone bankrupt in the last six years. A couple of these high profile bankruptcies cost investors in those companies millions and millions of dollars.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You pay for the console, you also pay a monthy fee for the priviliage of playing the games you paid to download and are also paying an ongoing fee to play...
