is your ping still low even in those gunfights?

are you playing on the same servers / same maps?

(there are some maps (particularly some of the CO maps) that generally have bad effects on every one's FPS)

you say your vid drivers are updated - did you update just before the fps problems occured? if so, might be worth downgrading to a slightly older version

no i had the drivers from 1st of april from nvidia. after the problem i used detonator drivers. but the problem remained. and i don't play that many co maps. i know some decline the fps. but i have the problem in all maps. all servers, at all times of the day. and my ping is stable.. so i have a low ping in the fights too. any ids?

does it happen with any other mods?

quickest thing to try is just a straight uninstall - reinstall

not entirely sure - i'll do some digging - but if you havn't changed any thing yourself, then chances are some thing else has changed... :X

Run ad aware and spybot, then update your virus scanner and scan for a virus, if you dont find anything, what have you installed lately? A new program may be hogging cpu cycles and causing fps droppage. Also run a trojan scan.

i've done that. and it is nothing strange. and nothing that costs lots of mbram.. so i've got enough to spent on hl...
