i know theres another similar post but its full of demos and no links

It <i>is</i> a fps with rpg elements, which is free. I'd say it's exactly what you're looking for. It's also multiplatform, so considering it's designed to run on many different machines, there's probably a way of making it run on yours.

Tribes and Tribes 2, realeased recently for download at some download place for free. They are a FPS/RTS so win win. Also if you _happen_ to be korean and or a fan of RPG's: PristonTale is a free 700mb MMORPG much like every other, except the graphics are bad, people don't really talk to you and navigation is just plain hard. Uh and another similar MMORPG is Shattered Galaxy. These 2 are only moderatelly fun, aka for starving children in Africa. I wouldn't download them if they are big and you are a 56ker.

Knight online looks way better than pristontale but still almost exactly the same. 2 races human vs slightly modded human, the "party system", items here, abilities there, map somewhere etc. enlighten me, is there anything origional in knight online?

Great Fun, played it for a while, then I went and bought myself Halo, Vice City and a bunch of old Black Isle games....Still love it though.
