Well, for weapons there's the...

LMG
Shotty
HMG
Grenade Launcher
Mines
Knife
Pistol
and Welder, though not technically a weapon.

For skins, there are two, but no, they're not chooseable, but random. Don't worry, it really doesn't make that much difference.

The commander can't watch from the ground.

And the commander drops any and all supplies, except for ammo which can be obtained at an Armory.
