Updating Voice_dsound, Cmdrate, Updaterate, Rate

<div class="IPBDescription">Automatically updating upon server join</div> Ok I am having mic problems. I can't narrow it down to voice_dsound, and the cl values of cmdrate, updaterate, and rate. How do I set all of those that whenever I join a server it goes to defaults that I set? I am guessing I got to use a cfg file or a script or something... Help me please? Setting it as a permanent alias so that I can just press a button to get my values would be nice too....


by the way, does voice_loopback give you the voice that everyone is hearing or is it like the soundtest in HL options menu?

you can create an Autoexec.cfg file and put it into your NS directory where your client.cfg is. Add all your variables to that file and it will load them upon connect.

actually you should make a userconfig.cfg file instead of the autoexec.

Thanks for the correction.. I guess i'm dating myself a bit. Is userconfig a new Steam feature or a Flayra feature?
