Toothpaste!

<div class="IPBDescription">... my first masterpiece</div>so yeah... i was thinking of something to make and i was all "how about toothpaste?" so then i was like "sweet, toothpaste. i like that." so i made a tube of toothpaste. it kinda sucks but i did it all without tutorials or anything. feedback is appreciated.

disclaimer: i have had photoshop for... 2 days now.

I would sugged beveal and embossing the tube part and giving it a gradient trim. Just double-click on the layer in the layer browser to see all the options. Make sure the text layers are merged too.

(Layer>Merge Visable) but only when the text & tube part are visable.

its all merged into one layer. i thought you had to do that in order to get it into gif.

and is there any way to like... make the dropshadow not look as crappy?

You mean you don't save back-up .psds?

ALWAYS save as a PSD, and THEN save copies as jpgs, gifs, whatever.  ALWAYS save the PSD so you can change it if you want to!
