I've known about that for a while thanks to Bill Bryson, whose works have convinced me that everyone, at all levels of running organisations in the US (be it the government, or merely companies) are totally insane.
Turdmuffins!! I was hoping they wouldn't ask about that genocide thing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Also somewhere else was a similar question. Something like "Are you going to use this product in use or production of weapons of mass destruction? YES/NO".
These questions certainly help prevent terrorism! Of course terrorists can't lie or do something bad... Oh wait <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

They most likely put it on there so someone can’t plead in court that they thought it was acceptable to do whatever. It seems to be from a purely legal standpoint because people wont admitingly say yes, but if you catch them later, you can convict them of lying on a government form in addition to whatever they actually did.
