[wip] Halo Pelican Conversion

<div class="IPBDescription">for a worldmodel</div> Doing a conversion of the Halo Pelican (human dropship). In the Halo MAP file, there are three of them, 2 of roughly the same level of detail, one thats lower poly. This is the high poly one, with a full interior and cockpit windows. The low-poly one (which I'll convert after this one, for reasons that shall become obvious) is about 2200 polies, while this is nearly 4500. The textures are already done (thx Bungie) and all this thing needs is a UVW map (or if I had an xbox and the xbox version, that wouldn't be necessary). The xbox one comes with the uvw maps done already, but the PC version doesn't. I'm not familiar with the xbox version, but if somebody could either send me the map file for the final mission ("The Maw"), since I also want to get the longsword fighter out of there, or the extracted .obj's for the longsword and pelican-high and pelican-low, that'd be awesome, but if not, I guess i'll get some practice UVW mapping this thing.

BTW: Smoothing groups NOT done yet, so its just flatshaded.

just, what i was thinking, a very good idea imo. an outdoors co_map, and some flipped warthogs as obstacles!
thats the second one right? (excuse me if i cant remember the names).
i was more thinking about the 3rd one, where u start off in the pelican.
sort of like an all assault rampage, running across a beach towards each other!!!

i had an idea for a CO or NS map called Battlefield

More than likely its that ugly FA conversion that dont look nothing like the original halo AR

Heh, I just extracted the lifepod. This pretty much takes any HL poly limit and thrashes it severly. I think the HL engine would give up and just die if it saw a few of these in a map. Polycount: 16173. If i removed the uber-detailed interior, that would be okay. The one with no interior (except for a pilot chair, which is over 1000 polies, and easily removed) is only 2800 polies.
Edit: The halo warthog is 5640 polies, so if yours is lower, thats definately a good thing.
