I have troubles keeping my self in speed

My problem is with lerk that I use to lose my inerta while rampaging in marine base or else. etc. i fly straight to marine who stops me, or I bump in some corner and lose my inertia.
Main thing I think is that, that i tend to do turning somehow wrong and lose my inertia and speed going back. should i keep the angels low? or what Í think Im doing way to hard curves, and start floating in air without speed.
any help guys?
PS. focuslerk
or
rapidbite lerk?

I assume you're using Combat to learn to play the lerk. What you ought to do is go lerk asap. Get two points and go lerk without any upgrades. This will teach you how to play lerk in Natural Selection a lot better.
A lot of the time, people run out of energy, and they can't fly. Even with the reduced energy cost for flying, this still happens I think. It's good to keep an eye on your energy. Always back off when you're at the bottom 1/3 or so of your energy.
Also, bumping into things will stop you. So if you crash into a marine to bite him, you're going to lose all your speed.
Instead, what you should try to do is bite the top of marine's heads. Fly higher up, then tilt down, and almost land on the marine's head, and bite him, then pull up. You should still be going pretty quick.
This is risky because if you fly straight at them, you're still easy to shoot at.
Basically, don't bump into things and don't run out of energy, and you should be flying fine. Lerk flight can be tough, but keep practicing I guess. Combat is your friend.

I just use spore once or twice, usee celerity to get in there, and focus chew their armorless butt... if you bite JUST before you hit em, you'll go THROUGH them

I play combat as you said and i take lerk asap i might now try to learn higher than their heads thank you and for the focus i use it on depending situation. If we are winning i take more like co-op upgrades, if the game is tie i might take focus and sof to pinpoint those usual rambomaniacs, if were are losing i might take focus depending hives location and defensive possibilities
I think pancaking is jsut screwing the game and it even isn`t fun while you jsut look the ceiling and floor and getting every1 **** off....
but about flight, normall i flap twice, then glide,if im in rine base,i tend to mash on the spacebar when im flying away, the more drunk your lerk flies, the harder he is to hit.Unless his flying on the floor
