seriously. this isn't funny. the other day, one of my friend's coworkers had his wife get killed by a DWI person (it was a hit-and-run, and they haven't caught the guy yet).

maybe you should wait until one of your close friends or family members dies from an auto accident before you decide it's funny.

cause it completely freaking is not. so as comprox says, shut the **** up.

i've personally fallen asleep at the wheel and trashed my car too - i took a pill for allergies that the doctor said wasn't supposed to be drowsy, but it turns out that a small percent of people who take it do experience drowsiness. i was only 3 blocks from my house, in my subdivision, coming home from dropping my sister off at school, and i fell asleep. my car drifted to the opposite side of the road, ran up someone's driveway, glanced off a parked SUV, knocked over a small tree (I woke up at this point), then proceeded to roll downhill into two other parked cars before I had the wits about me to pull up the parking brake (the engine had already stalled...it got pushed back into the dash. Luckily no one was hurt, although someone was standing really close by when this happened. Needless to say I'll never be taking any pills before driving ever again, drowsy or not.

"maybe you should wait until one of your close friends or family members dies from an auto accident before you decide it's funny."

I shut out death so it wouldn't effect me.

And I wasn't making fun of "tragic" (Oh no! Someoen died! TRAAAGEDY!) deaths, I was telling the truth, and what anyone else with a brain was thinking.

That's healthy. Oh yeah. [/Blatant Sarcasm]

And it's DUI where I come from-Driving Under Influence. What's DWI?

Deepest Condolences to all. Just remember we're all going to die one day, and so we can only hope it's not while screaming in sheer terror. That was meant as sympathy, but it was twisted horribly by my jaded, cynical mind.

Along with Testament, death is a part of life. Everybody will get theres..and it will all be different. I've had family and friends die before to, ya it's sad, but accept it.

All post that have something to do with death here have ended up in convos saying stuff like this. I'm not making fun of the deaths at all. I may have some low thoughts, but not like that.

Hell with my racing, that's how I'll probably end up dead. Going 140 down a freeway and hit something or somebody. At least I'd go down having fun and for a sadistic factor, maybe take a few innocents down with me and hopefully i'll see a BABY ON BOARD thing too. Jk, sometimes Test and I can have a sadistic taste of humour as you can tell lol.

But everybody has to accept it and it just makes it easier if you shun it off of your mind. Thinking and worrying about death is just a waste of time...just admit we are all proteins, bacteria and molecules. Just supposedly high evolved. We are germs, if not parasites.

Granted it's sad and all, but just get over it. That's the best advice ever in the world, just get over it. If not and you worry, it will just make you age and die faster.

It's all in the mind, death = fear and fear = worry and worry = dull.

    Teh Endorz

There's a difference between getting over a death, and being downright disrespectful to the dead. Paranoia, you and Testament have crossed over that line. Why on earth would you start cracking jokes about someone who just died? Even if the accident was his fault, it's tragic and a cause for sorrow, not immature comments like "Oh, he deserved it, how stupid - JK LOL".

Oh, and docchimpy, DWI = Driving While Intoxicated. Same as DUI, different words.

    DWI - DUI
I heard that one is actually worse even though they are practicly the same things.

And who cares if we start cracking jokes? Apparently you and some other people do, pretty much you guys started this by replying to our threads, if you didn't say anything, then we wouldn't be here right now.

And the accident has passed, the cause for sorrow was on the day it happened and the time of death.

Also, why would the dead care?

Also for myself, if i'm tired and I have to drive somewhere. I just don't go or get somebody else to take me or find some way that I can get some more rest or have a trusted person take me.

I think the Irish * i believe * have the best train of thought. During a funeral, they get drunk outta their minds to forget about the person who passed. So hey to the poster of the dead friend. Get wasted with other friends
*just dont drive or else you'll join him in the ground*

Now this is a thread about accidents, not deaths. So lets get back on topic.

So why do you think its alright to make those jokes if apparently you KNOW people care, and why would you assume people DONT care ABOUT THEIR DEAD FRIENDS.

The worst I've been in was when we got clipped by another vehicle and started to spin slightly. Nothing much. My uncle died while racing his ultra suped up car down a road, the car flipped and exploded. My friend totalled his dad's car by approaching a cut off too quickly. He went into a tailspin crashed straight into a sign. The car was dented in by about a foot (no joke). One of my driving instructor's vehicles got wrecked when a bus ploughed into the back of it at 30 mph, the car was stationary.

I remember my Science Teacher Mr. Youngblood told our class a story that when he was a driving instructor for the school.

He had this one female driver (nothing sexist) and she was just nervous. They were around my school I believe and they where at a light, when out of nowhere. A city pickup truck comes up behind holding steel pipes in the bed SLAMS into them. They are all alright, but hella shaken up, the girl peed her seat! :X

Anyways, as they got out. The back 1/2 of the car was gone. Only thing left was the driver and front passenger seat and up. Like the new Honda commercial haha.

Anyways..off to my job interview. Maybe some of you will get lucky and I'll die.

ive had a few knocks, nothing bad though, my dad however has totaled more cars than most people will ever drive.

the absolute worst though was a friend of my dads. he used to ride grand prix motorcyles back in the day (late 70's early 80's) untill he had a really bad off. he came off at around 120mph, straight off the back. now this wasnt so bad, it had happened to him quite a few times and his leathers would save him. but the guy behind him was a bit too slow with the old "dodge the guy who fell off" trick. and rode over him. cr0tch to head. (come on swear filter, im trying to tell a story here!)

the guy has so much metal in his spine he cant twist at all or bend much at the waist. hes not allowed on planes, he cant even get passed the metal detectors with out being threatened with "the glove"

Wow, some of you guys are real blatant ***holes, bashing crack because his friend died. Seriously, LIGHTEN UP. What if YOUR friend got into a huge car accident and died? Have you ever stopped to think about that? I know how it feels to have someone I know die. My grandfather died March 1st of this year of a severe stroke. It was NOT fun. What's even sadder is going to the Wake, and seeing them just lying there, not able to talk to you. Some of you people that are bashing crack should just get out of this topic now and go post in some other topic.

That's a goddamned tragedy. I'd rather die than live with a crippling injury. Most of these people who die are better off with death, considering what life would've left them with...

Edit: Xero, I have no friends cuz I stop talking to and acknowledging them after about 6 months. So it won't happen.

My grandmother died, hell, I was in the same room when we found her corpse, but it never affected me. In-fact, it gave me a few weeks of excuses for berating teachers before I dropped out last year.
