Was checking boards...found cool picture of p90...dunno if ne1 has attempted to model.

I'm very new to modelling (this is second model) see what you think:

Not bad for a second model, not bad at all. Lord knows it's better than my attempt at a Stinger II STA Missile Launcher.

I can't see your image (Bandwith problems?), but I know Daza made a P90 and Panaka modded it as well (I'm using the P90 as we speak, in fact). Check the official release topic.

    [EDIT] Here is <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=67697' target='_blank'>Daza's P90.</a>

Sorry, but no luck with the image. It's alright; I'm no modeler. Revolver would be a much better person to talk with on the subject.

it's called INOVATION... you know, where you actually INVENT something NEW and/or re-design something old to make it BETTER?

i can think of a few design flaws with a square supressor, but ALOT more benifits...

its not a modifier you right click and go to convert editable poly and then go to edge selection then select the edges and press chamfer

Yeah but at least u dont go miles over poly counts. I think this ones @ 2607 now cos i added sight and some more detail.

Still trying to get it into milkshape so I can animate it...dont like using 3d max for animations.

Some reason I can't get the SMD exporter for MAX to work.
  • NottinghamNottingham Join Date: 2002-11-26 Member: 10002Members
2600 is a high polycount considering the detail. But then again it was your 2nd model so you will probably learn to optimize the mesh better in the future

Remember, you need to be able to remove the magazine for the reload animation. It's a nice work in progress <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

This i am dreading dude. As far as i can make out on this wep, the whole front assembly swings down and then u slide the magazing back towards yourself.

no.. the weapon doesnt have break action like a winchester. to remove the magazine you lift it and pull it towards you.

To get an idea, look at any P90 model in half life model viewer; play the reload animation
