My little story

I just took all of this story I wrote on this thread and fixed grammer spelling and added some new stuff, go to page 2 and you will see my link there, let me know what you think, thanx
This is a little story I've been cooking up in my head, I don't think anyone else has posted something like this so here goes:
The day started like all others. Waking up and unstrapping in the disorienting zero-G enviorment that is comes standard to this line of work. Slowly, I begin to drift inches above my cot (which was bolted to the floor) and reaching for a handlebar welded on the side of the hull I pulled my self upright and cut air as I floated towards the kitchen.
At just the thought of the word kitchen I had to chuckel, it was rather obscure to call it such because it was just a simple cabinet filled with hundreds of MR's(MealRations) which came standard in a toothpaste like container.
I was still a little groggy but was jolted suddenly when my head bumped the cabinet. Cursing softly I opened it and reached for a MR. I opened it with a satisfying poping sound. Its always fun eating in zero G, the pasty substance squeezed out in a long strand before I caught it twelve inches later.
"Ack! Hotdog," but I ate it anyway.
I took a quick look around, the room was still dim. I was running in silent mode to get some sleep and to hopefully keep out of the way of the TSA fleet I saw moving last night. It was a most peculiar thing, I was at the cockpit making my usual weapons run to ALPHAX colony when while I was in orbit with the planets moon I got clipped by a transport ship coming from the planet. The bold TSA logo was hard to miss. I slipped just enough into a neigborhing asteroid belt not to get found.
My ship was fairly small, the bedroom and "kitchen" were connected to the cockpit in a cramped confinement while most of the ship was mainly for cargo.
After finishing breakfeast I slipped into the cockpit and flipped the radar screen on. Nothing. Good. I had feared the TSA transport ship would pursue and try to board me but it looks like they left the area. This was also a good sign because I could finally turn the power back on and get some damn gravity back.
I licked what was left of the pastry hot dog off my fingers and punched in the proper code sequence.
"Power On-line," a friendly female voice said suddenly as the overhead lights flicked on.
"Thanks sugar," I said, I flipped the gravity on next and fell a foot onto my seat with a HMPH!
"Gravity on-line."
"No kidding," I grumbled.
I double checked my long range radar to see if any TSA were about but pleasantly found none. I flipped on the power to the engines and taking manual control easily guided the ship out of the asteroid field.
"Lets see what my next drop off is," I said to myself. I pressed as button the console next to me and got out my callender, ####. I had a shipment due to mars colony in twenty minutes. I chuckled, well they wont be seeing me for another ten, better hurry anyway.
I plotted a course to Mars colony and plugged in autopilot. I now had nothing to due for another ten hours. During this time I usually would play solitare, or plug into the monitored computer and play a classic computer game from LONG ago, but I didn't feel like it today. It was a late night lastnight with only four hourse of sleep so I checked back into my bunk (gravity this time) and fell asleep.
I woke with a painfully loud sound in my ears. The entire room was flooded with red lights and the silent alaram was sounding off rather loudly (damn swedish). I ran to the cockpit and brought up the monitor. Five hundred yards away from my ship stood three TSA combat fighters and the transport I had seen before.
Static broke on my radio and a voice came through:
"Surrender yourself, we have detected illegal weapons in your cargo hold, lower your defences and we will board you, thankyou."
"Ahh ####," how the hell did they get past my sensor jammer, and when the hell did the TSA become a police outfit, frigging unpredictable marines.
Reluctantly I powered down, I wasn't getting into a fight today, and they can't keep me for long. I backed away from the door and waited for them. Within minutes I heard the docking clamps lock on and my ship shook. Voices were on the otherside of the outer door and after a loud "GO!" four TSA erupted into the room and four guns were in my face.
"Well what can I do for you today jarheads?" I said to the heavily armored marine in front of me holding a Hmgun eyelevel with me, my hand shook invaluntarily but my voice was calm.
They responded with a light machinegun to my gut. I toppled over and they dragged me through the docking corridor and onto their ship...
I will continue this in a little bit but I gotta use the bathroom, and sorry if I mispelled some stuff and have some grammer issues- its just the first draft and part 1

I was put very quickly in the brig. My head was still spinning when I finally realised that that was where I was. I took a knee and caught my breath, then I stood and looked around. The brig was fairly lit and consisted of two bunks on opposite sides of the walls, the walls and floor were metalic and overall very bland.
There was a triple titanium barred door to the entrance of the cell, standard issue. A jarhead stood by the security controls, behind him was a rack holding four light machineguns and ammunition, bellow it was a series of hooks where pistols were hung, this seemed to be the barracks too... odd.
I aproached the bars and leaned against them. The jarhead paid me no mind, I could see his tight muscular jaw stand firm and his chin high as if in constant attention stance. I could not see his eyes for his visor and helmet, but a name tag on his green blast armor said: Joseph P. Breckenridge
"Hey Joe, whats the deal here buddy, theres no weapons on my ship," I called to him, but still he paid me no mind.
"Yo jarhead I'm talking to you," the marines jaws clenched slightly then released. I decided not to taunt him further and instead slumped into the bunk on the left side of the wall.
I sat there at some length before the security door to the brig opened, and another armored marine entered with two HA's trailing toting Heavymachine guns and welders strapped on their backs. Odd, I suddenly noted that they were wearing their headgear indoors...
The less armored marine aproached the brig. I coulnd't see his eyes through his helmet but I knew he was looking at me.
"Whats the poop meathead?" I said cockily trying to get a rise out of him, "those waterguns really neccesarry?"
"Shut up," he said, his expression did not change. All these marines looked alike.
I did shut up and after a moment he began to speak again, "We are heading back to earth, with the weapons we found on your ship, they will bring you up on charges there."
"Hey I know my rights, TSA can't arrest people," I said crossing my arms.
"Yes your right, but we didn't detain you, you surrendered yourself and came aboard willingly," he said again in the same tone.
"Yeah right, you really believe I am going to do that? Get real jarhead," the marine glowered and quick as lighting he grabbed me from the other side of the bars, his pistol was drawn and it was in my face.
"You surrenderd yourself," he said again with no tone of anger in his voice, the metalic guantlet gripped me tighter.
"Yeah! Yeah! Let go, I'll surrendered, I'll tell them that," I lied.
"Good," he released me and after holstering his pistol began to walk away.
"HEY!" I called, "Your just going to leave me rotting here, earth is a weeks travel away," he kept on walking, "you can't keep me here for long!" he stopped.
He turned slowly and faced me from across the room, "We'll see," and he left the room with the two other HA's.
Time passed very slowly from there, It seemed like weeks had gone by, but I checked my watch and it has only been a day. But at least the grub was good, better than those MR's...My watch! I had forgoten about it, I fiddled around with it quickly and unbuckled it, those stupid jarheads hadn't bothered to take it off. The back of it popped off easily and revealed the microwelder I had hidden there, it stood next to nothing of a chance of cutting the bars but if I could just take a second and cut the through the circuts through the panel on the wall...
I aproached the bunk and felt around the wall, this wasn't my first time in a TSA brig and I knew that all cells were the same. There was this one spot I found once which I looked for in haste, it was a small removable section of the hull which linked the locking mechanism, and thankfully it was near a blindside of the security guard so it just looked like I was going to bed.
Got it.
The little inch wide panel popped off and I slipped it aside. Quickly I hit the power welder on switch and began to cut the wires.
The room flooded with Red again as the alarm went off, ahhh crap. But it wasn't for the breach in the lock I had just made. I knew because I had suddenly heard gunshots.
Okay I know this part is a little scetchy, I'll continue it later... tell me what you think so far, oh and BTW once I'm done I'll fix grammer and spelling, thanx. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
The gunshots persisted outside the security door followed by a dull scream and a muffled collapse. The security guard outside the brig holstered a pistol from the wall and grabbed a LMG and clip, and without even paying any heed to me exited through the door.
I stood panic struck for a moment, and without even thinking finished the job on the lock. The door made a *Clink* sound and the lock was disarmed.
"Still got it," I said to myself and ran up to the armory side wall.
After years of weapons dealing I knew the standard Lightmachine gun like the back of my hand, often I would use it to pin down colony police and make an escape, I never killed anybody though. My thoughts abruptly ended when a sudden explosion on the other side of the wall erupted, the lights flickered and the gunfire ceased. I swallowed the knot in my throat and popped a clip in the LMG and put some more clips in my pocket.
I carefully stalked towards the door ever mindful of the uncumfortable silence outside it when suddenly it was broken by a metalic clank behind me. I wipped around quickly just in time to see a flash of movement explode from an erupted venting grate. Whatever came out of it moved faster than than anything I have seen before, it actually Ran across the WALL and lept an top of the security control console. It was then that I got a good look at it.
It was small, a dog sized creature that was nothing earthly in nature, Its furless body and spike like feet were horribly out of place and when it showed its spiked teeth I opened up on it.
I managed the LMG's recoil and put half a clip in it when the security console exploded in an shower of sparks and fire, the overhead sprinklers turned on and set out the blaze. I dropped the useless clip to the ground and quickly reloaded.
My shirt was soaked to my back by the time the sprinklers shut off. The creature was blown off the table from the explosion and was on the other side. Slowly I aproached the console and looked around.
The small dog like creature was soaked in a puke green blood and its stomach impaled on jagged debree. I turned and vomited at the smell and without even thinkin I ran out of the brig and out the security door...
I'll continure in a bit, Tell me what you think so far and sorry again for the improper grammer, thanx <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
The security door shut behind me and once again I had the urge to vomit. The smell of death clung to the air like an overbearing colone, and the walls in the tight hallways was bathed in blood.
I did vomit again, and gagged until I caught my breath. I wiped my face on the back of my hand and shouldered my Light machine gun.
"I have to get out of here," I said to myself, "now!"
I bolted from the gory mess but slipped just as fast. I slammed hard on my shoulder. I layed there for several moments, but sheer fear pushed me foward and I stood up again trying my best to ignore the pain when out of no where a thin voice came, "Help me."
I looked to my left and sitting against the wall was a TSA marine, and what I had tripped over was his disconected leg.
"Help me." He said again, I looked on his chestplate, it was Joseph, Joseph Breckenridge. His armor was wet with blood and under his stomach section hung pieces of internal organ that I could not tell was his or not, his leg was disconected from the upper hip and part of the bone was showing, the armor around it had gnaw marks in it and deep puncture wounds. It was obvious there was nothing I could do.
"Okay buddy, I'll help you," I reached for a pouch under his armor and found his standard issue morphine, three doses, I gave him all three and ended his pain quickly. Without any emotion I stood and preceded down the hallway.
I came to another security door, the lock was armed and looked at my wrist I had lost my watch. As I prepared to turn and head back a crackle came from an unknown intercom, the only light in the allway was a red flash bulb with the letter WARNING printed underneath it.
"You, hold it," the intercom blared, I looked up.
"Whats going on?" I said meekly having lost my voice.
"Theres too much to explain, but if you want to get off this ship alive you have to do exactly as I tell you."
I stood there a moment before respoding, my options were simple, "yeah...okay."
"I am commander Tommelson, I am currently hooked up at the command station in the bridge of the ship, I will be here to give you directions, can you report on the status of the marines in your general vicinity?" the commander said over the intercom.
"Dead," I said, "I found breckenridghe, he's...gone, the others, there was too much blood to tell," My voice was flat.
"Alright, I am disarming the lock, proceed down the halway, I have planted an armor console there I suggest you suit up, Quick," The red light on the lock turned green and thed oor opened, I saw before me the armory he had promised and did exactly as he told me...
I'll continue in a bit, tell me what you think, thanx <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
I was suited from head to heel in TSA armor, those who knew me the best would probably have laughed at me, dressing up as a jarhead. But I am not in the laughing mood.
I stood in another hallway much like the one before. Dark except for a slow blinking warning light positioned every twenty feet. I fumbled around my suit until I found the flashlight attachment on my shoulder and turned it on.
The light instantly caught a trail of blood. I followed it with the light moving my body to guide it and found that it continued around a bend.
"I'm ready commander," I said to an unknown intercom.
"Alright, I don't detect any heat signatures in your area, it looks clean, proceed down the hallway and take a right, continue down that hallway untill you come to another security door, you can't miss it."
"Yeah, I got ya," I said looking around uncomfortably, "theres a lot of blood leading that way though."
"I know, don't worry I'll give you a heads up if anything comes your way, and to keep things short say Roger in ackknowledgement, k?"
"Roger," the commander chuckled nervously, I could tell he was smokeing on the other end. Probably to kill the tension.
Doing as he said I moved as quickly as I could through the hallway. The blood was slippery beneath my feet but I managed. My flashlight lit the dim corridor just enough to make my way. I turned the around the corner, the blood trail still continued.
Up ahead I my flashlight caught a mist in the air, and I heard the steaming of a broken pipe. The intercom blared.
"Woah woah, hold it."
"What is it?" I said.
"Coolant for running to engineering, I'll bypass the system and shut it down. Hold on."
I stood there for uncomfortable moments until the hissing of the pipe stopped and the commander urged me to proceed foward again.
As I passed by the broken pipe I saw that it was bitten into, the hair on the back of my neck stood up, but this might have just been from the fack that several hundred galons of coolant just flooded the room. I had to move twice as slow not to slip.
The intercom crackled, "Hold it, I'm not reading your heat signature anymore, I can only trace your radar tag, this means that I can't find anything else either so watch out- I think its clear though."
"Yeah, you THINK," I grumbled and walked carefully down the icey hall.
I did eventually reach the security door. The lock was off and the door opened, a mist leaked out slowly from the other side.
"Did you open the door?" The commander asked, I froze.
"No," my voice quivered from either cold or fear.
"Oh my god..." There was silence, then, "RUN!"
But I couldn't run, I saw its head first. A large bulbous thing, almost like that of elephant but slimey and off color. A type of green. Its eyes were on a muchroom like part of hisd head connected with a glaring mouth and two or three tendrils slowly coiling from its back. It was the size of a bear and before I could take thec ommanders advice it lashed out at me.
The venom hit me quicker than anything I have expierienced before, my legs locked. My whole body locked. Then it charged at me. It came at me fast. It's legs unwavering under its massive weight and body. I knew I was in for it...this time for good...
continued in a bit:) Note: I am revising this whole thing once I am done, thanx for reading I'll continue either tomorrow or in a little bit.
Although I saw my imminent death before me, and also being paralyized, I could not help but be in utter awe at the giant creature that came billowing at me. In my smuggling days I have seen some things, like the Telathian Moon eel that snuck on board my cargo hold, or the Galorius Ox which put a six inch dent in my hull, but this thing was something else.
It seemed to gain speed as it ran, its eyes a redish orange and totally lidless. Sound seemed distant, I could only hear muffled voices and screaming, then when it was but ten feet away from me the entire corridor filled with steam. The sheer coldness blasted me back to reality. My legs buckled and I hit the deck.
The only thing I could make out in the haze was a huge clay colored mass flying above and over me then it was gone in the six inch visibilty of the coolent steam that once again was filling the corridor. I manage to move myself over. It seemed that from the waste up I had the abililty to move, it left me in kind of a tingly sensation all over much like when my your hand falls asleep and then blood quickly serculates through it again. But everything bellow by belt was dead.
I was sitting up now. I could only slightly make out the wall to the left and right of me. The coolent steam was so blinding. I reached around frantically for my Light machine gun and after several moments grabbed it butt first.
The air was so thin and cold. I could feel my hair stiffin, I could see my brouth come out in static blasts of air. Then everything tuned in and I heard the commanders voice again.
"Jesus are you okay?" an intercom above frantically asked but I couldn't speak, my finger was tight around the trigger of the lightmachinegun as I aimed blindly into the mist in front of me looking for any sign of movement.
"Okay I'm turning the coolent off again," and he did, the mist quickly decipated into the vents above.
I looked out in total fear expecting the huge creature to come tearing at me again. But all I found was an empty corridor. But I heard it.
The breathing sound came suddenly, it sounded like it was all around me. I looked around trying to find its source. But the hallway was uncomfortably empty, the darkness on the otherside of the open door more so. I grabbed some pipe on the other side of the wall. My hands were shaking from both cold and fear and I knew that If I don't get up and run now I was done for.
Slowly I pulled myself closer to the door, my legs barely could hold my weight. Everytime I slipped I reasured my grip on the pipe and kept on moving.
I have to admit I didn't think that I had a chance. Whatever that thing was could have easily of caught me by now. The room was still so cold. Even as I moved slowly towards the door feeling in my legs continued to increase. I had proper balance again and let go of the pipe to stumble along much more quickly.
The door was mere feet away when I heard the tromping sound again. The commander said something overhead but I ignored him and turned around. It was there, forty feet off. It stood perfectly still. I opened up a volley of light machine gun rounds on it but that only seemed to #### it off, funny as it was I saw a lightmachine gun once take out an elephant, a freaking elephant! But this thing only glared the bullets off and came at me again.
"RUN RUN GET TO THE DOOR FAST!!!" The commander screamed overhead but I was already running.
I had just made it through the door and with the last ounce of strength rammed the butt of the lmg into the emergency close button, shattering the safety glass that protected it. The thing was so close and the door seemed to close so slowly. A moment before it reached the door, the door had closed and when it hit it I was thrown off balance and on my back.
My back hit something pointy. I turned around to see three valves:
Coolent
Gas
Exaughest
I smiled slightly as I watched the thing look at me through the viewing window on the door.
"Commander turn on the gass again," I said aloud as I turned the coolent valve down and the gas valve all the way up.
Without responding the commander turned it back on and I heard the invisible gas fill the room on the otherside of the door. But then I saw it ignite as an overhead spark from a broken light set it ablaze.
"You ugly bast'ard burn!" I screamed and laughed insanely. I could hear its death cry, it sounded almost like a beach whale. But thank god it was dead.
"Okay, now move your close to the bridge, your gonna want to take the catwalk down the hallway to your left," the commander said, but this time it was in a speaker hooked up to my helmet, "nice work though."
It was the sheer thrill of surviving that pushed me on, and the need for survival. My legs had most of the feeling back in them and I stumbled/ran down the hallway and to the left...
Continued, phew now I gotta get off for a bit... tell me what you think, thanx:)
"You know," I gasped exhausted from my run, "why do you care if I live or not anywhay."
My strength ebbed with every step, it didn't hit me right away but I had discovered that I didn't come away unscathed. When I was paralysed it seems that the beast had gotten my torso, the pain had come so suddenly.
The intercom in my helmet blared, "lets hold the chit chat," the commander said rather nervously, this was all I needed to hear.
I took another right turn and found a small staircase leading to a catwalk. I put too much weight on my left foot going up and fell flat on my face. I discovered all too painfully that I could not get up, I was so tired...so tired.
I could hear the voice of the commander in my headset, but I didn't listen. Slowly I reached up and removed my helmet. The world came in a tint brighter and cool recurculated air washed across my face. I could lay here all day.
I nonchalantly cast my weapon aside and when I didn't hear it hit the ground I was concerned. I looked over cautiously and saw below me a cavernous drop. I could not see the bottom and the source of the cool breeze was from a giant fan spanning the circumfrance of the cavern around me. Rather I saw I my light machine gun again as it floated gently above me and into the darkness of the ceiling.
A giddy feeling overwhelmed me and I laughed long and hard, and just then I fell asleep unbeknownst of the pair of hands that began to drag me away from the catwalk and into an unknown corridor. Much like all the others before.
Okay I know this segment is a little short but I wanted to end chapter one and do some grammer and spell corrections. I apreciate your comments and support and welcome some more, a writers best friend is constructive critisicm.
