Aliens do have blood, it's a yellowish green color. Marines don't bleed however. Their armor sparks like when you shoot the turrets in normal HL.

Well atleast if an alien gets crushed or lands to hard its corpse should look flat.
Oh yeah another question, do aliens get hurt from falling?

as far as I know, the skulk doesn't have falling damage, I think others do.

If you really get down to it, the aliens don't bleed. When they get hit, their slimy bateria coating flies off dispating the energy. But then again, it might as well be blood.
