Installing Ns Patches

<div class="IPBDescription">is there a strict way?</div> im just wondering is there a guidline to follow when installing new ns client patches.

would be most appreciated if you could point me to some instructions or list how to ptach ns properly for win XP Home.

i think something make have gone wrong when i tried installing patch 4, as when installed it i was still on patch 3 and the download was clearly for patch 4 .

but another mirror download and install of patch 4 got it working.

could there be files i dont need and overlapping etc?
