I dont like the first pic, i mean whats the point of stairs going down into a pit leading to more stairs?
The second picture needs more lighting, more spotlights on the roof should do the trick.
I like the first pic. However, the glass in the second pic has strange lighting. Some contrast could be intriguinig
I can't, for the life of me, imagine why pitch black rooms are at all appealing to some people. What is the <i>point</i>? There are much better ways of adding atmoshpere to an area other than not allowing the player to see his surroundings.
IFA, looking good, but I'd definitely suggest adding some light the the area in the second shot. Remember that, realistically, a player is going to want to actually be able to see where he's going (at the least).
Also, I just got an idea for the MS room there. What if you extended the room in one direction, with a continuation of the pillars. Maybe just doubled.
