My folder file type has numerous actions that aren't related to find associated with it.
Aside from find (which seems to be your default, and what happens, and you have nothing else to select), I have explore and open as my choices (although I can't check what it's opening them with, you might just try putting in New...->Action: "open" and see if that works. Otherwise, you might want to right click on your folders when you try to open it and see what it brings up in the menu (because the option that is performed with a double click is bolded, so if you right click and find is bolded, then thats your default action for the folder.
Not sure if that really helps at all...
[edit] I've found double clicking on a menu will give me the information about how it works, so if you want me to see if I can find the open command reference stuff, I could do that (though it might not work on your computer with all the german/because I'm retarded/just because computers like angering people).
[edit 2] nevermind, obst has pretty much everything I just said, except my computer sucks and I probably would have screwed yours up too <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah, i thought the problem was a language setting, too.. i'm a n00b <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Neither of the two above replies are related to the problem in anyway. It's a settings and options problem and doesn't go with the resources in anyway (I think you might actually be able to develop this problem on Win2k too (although, really, it's kindof obscure).
His problems seems fixed anyway (unless it wants to keep doing it on start up or some weird other problem...).
Besides, we all know, Windows 3.1 with DOS > everything <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

:EDIT2: <a href='http://www.flashforum.de/archiv/topic/57251-1.html' target='_blank'>http://www.flashforum.de/archiv/topic/57251-1.html</a>
Basically:
1) Create new action named OPEN
2) As program for this action define EXPLORER.EXE
3) Set as standard
