Should've posted in some music forum? :)
Hello
I plan on buying an electric piano (keyboard) in a month or so. I have about $500 to spend, although I could go up to 600 or something. I've been looking on eBay for some time now, and I didn't find anything good - anything that had everything I wanted.
Here is a list of features which is must have:

At least 6 octaves (72/73 keys)

MIDI In/Out

Touch response

Sustain pedal port

Realistic key presses (umm... there should be some resistance to pressing a key)

Record/playback (almost necessary)

And for the features that I really want to be there, but not necessarily:

Auto Accompaniment

Lots of instrument sounds (100+)

Pitch bending

And for the ones that probably won't be there but nice to have:

Sampling

Selective accompaniment (which layerse I want on/off)

Analog volume control

Digital sound/accompaniment selection

If anyone could find a keyboard which has most of the listed features, that'd be really nice. I'm looking, too, but I haven't had too much luck.

I don't mind it being used, as long as it is not damaged in any way.

Thanks a lot.

Asking for weighted keys automatically makes it way out of your budget, not to mention you want a workstation.

You can't even get a Midi Controller keyboard with weighted keys in that pricerange (That's a keyboard without any sound/synthesizer/arrangement features).

Your best bet is if you really want weighted keys, is to find some old and used 90's synths/keyboards.

It sounds to me you are looking for a complete workstation like the Korg Triton and that my friend, costs well over $3000 for the 88 note weighted key version

Maybe this is something you should look into Roland RD-100. It's velocity-sensitive 88-note keyboard with hammer-action. It's not rich on sounds, but it's Roland quality and you can always hook it up to your computer with Midi and get some software synthesizers for sounds.

OK then. Erase that weighted-keys part.
