How Do I Start My Own Online Ns Server?

I have no idea how to start my own online NS server for other NS players to play on. I've tried dedicated server but it didnt show up in the server hosting list.
I would really like to know how so many other people are doing this.

Please help me.

    You can start by searching the boards of the operating system you are running your server on. Questions similar to this have been asked many, many times over. I don't want to sound like a jerk, I just want to let you know that there are hundreds of well thought out and well written posts by knowledgable admins already posted; I can assure you they will more then satisfy any and all quesitons you have.
