Will Ns Ever Have Dual Processor Support?

<div class="IPBDescription">i.e. Xeon??</div> This might actually depend alot on the release of HL2 but I just wanted to know if there was any plans. I currently use Firedaemon to try to support the Dual Xeon Processors which turn to Quads with Hyperthreading enbaled, but just wanted to inquire about native support

    The HAlf-Life engine does not support multiple processors. Until that does no mods can do it either. You are right, I don't think we'll see multithreading until half-life 2.

    Although Half-Life cannot support Dual processors, don’t think that there is no benefit. The fact that the OS Whether it is Windows XP/2000/Server or Linux, your overall system performance will be better than those without Dual CPU's. By tweaking your affinity and priority you can make for a decent server on much less hardware.
