Max Amount Of Players On Ns3 B3 Server?

What is the maximum amount of players that you can possibly have on a Natural Selection Version 3 Beta 3 Server?

I am in the process of installing Quad T3 Internet line connections (Mid May 2004) that I want to dedicate to Natural Selection v3B3 but I am not sure how far I can take it.

Also Depending on what this max player amount is what kind of machine it would take to host it with this max amount of players.

Any info would be great,

    32 players, but beware. The balance will be FUBAR'ed. I recommend 12-16.

    We have 3 servers - all P4 2.4Ghz, 1GB Ram, one running 32 players. just make sure that you use windows as the OS.

    32 players is the max, but if you're running NS maps 16 to 17 (I'd suggest 16 since then teams won't be uneven) would be a good setup for players. More than 8 alien players, and their res income starts to really hinder them. Please <i>do not</i> have ns_maps with 32 players, we already have enough of those.
