Power Supply Question

<div class="IPBDescription">A question about power supplies... duh.</div> Planning on updating my power supply because my 250W is VERY outdated, but I have one quick question.

I'm stuck with a Micro ATX board for a little while, but all Micro ATX power supplies are under 300W, and I'm going to need more than that. The only difference between an ATX and Micro ATX power supply that I know of is that an ATX mobo has a -5V rail, which a Micro ATX PS lacks. If I were to hook up an ATX PS on a Micro ATX mobo, would it work?

Once again, thanks for any advice/help.

won't work. If you want to push more power through the pc for stuff like video card/more hard drives, you're gonna need a new motherboard.
