Ns Has Just Suddenly Stopped Working

<div class="IPBDescription">:/</div> Today I played NS, just like I usually do. Then I quit and played another game, then I came back to play a little bit of NS again, but when I started it it just froze up, and it wouldn't let me select any menus or anything, then it says "Half-Life Launcher has encountered a problem and will now close" which is what I normally get when a program stars getting sucky.

I reinstalled, how do I fix it?
