Fix my texture

<div class="IPBDescription">Please</div>I tried to make a texture for my map ns_atomicmass.  It's supposed to be a pair of frosted glass doors (to be used outside the cryonics freezer room).

I hope one of you exellent photoshoppers can find time to fix it up so it looks nice.

It is important that is kept at it's current size as it is made to fit a specific doorway.

    What's wrong with it?  If it'll be applied to mode: texture, partially transparent brushes as frosted glass doors, it should look pretty good as-is.

    Have you even tried it in-game yet? It may be just what you're looking for. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    I'd get it in-game, and then if that's not quite what you're looking for, toss it out here again with an in-game shot and then list what's wrong with it and what needs to be changed.

    I can't put my finger on it.  It just doesn't look quite right to me.  Maybe i'm just being a perfectionist...

    If anything, it might just take darkening that background shade of grey to get the best balance of translucency and 'frosted' highlights on the door itself.

    /me shrugs

    I fiddled with the render amount until the frosting became visble.  I think the base shade needs to be darker with more contrast on the frosting and text, it also needs to be dirtier (i've never been able to make textures look properly dirty).

    That is looking good! <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
    I think you should get a line of light from where those two lights at top are or maybe some spotlights.

    Wow! that's cool. I'd suggest adding a layer of clouds over it just to make highlights (Blend mode: Multiply Opacity: 30%)

    Oops. Just did a better version and accidently closed without saving. :x
